Though she is still far to young to say much about, Jocosa is a born fighter with a remarkable will. She is the type that never gives up even in the face of insurmountable odds.

History

Jocosa is the thirdborn child of Maria and Larkin Mormont, and the only surviving twin of a complicated pregnancy. Though it was her most painful time giving birth by far, Maria ultimately recovered from their birth without issue. Unfortunately the twins were not so lucky. Jocosa herself was born seemingly paralyzed in the left arm and right leg from having suffered some kind of injury in the womb, and her twin brother Wymond was stillborn. This devastated her parents, her father especially becoming protective of her because of it. Ser Larkin watches over her carefully whenever he can, and it seems he even forgoes trips away when he can afford to, just to protect her from the world that was already so cruel to her. But even at the age of 2 she has shown a willingness to fight back against her condition, and her left fingers as well as her right toes can often be seen slightly twitching every so often as she stares down at them with willful intent in her eyes. She will overcome this; She knows it.
