Bram Treva Blythe Ash: Jay's father. Bram is a reference to Bram Stoker but also means father of a multitude, which with eight kids I'd say he counts. Treva means prudent. He’s very separatist and has a superiority complex. He goes behind his wife’s back to undermine her work in making things better for all people in the city by sneaking out with his old powerful vampire buddies and being rich assholes throwing their wealth and power around to drive away any non vampires and keep everyone else quiet about it. He’s a douchebag.

They started off in a whirlwind romance both very into it but started growing apart as she stayed home taking care of and protecting the kids and he fought in the wars, each moved further on opposite sides of the political spectrum, however both tried to keep politics outside of their relationship. It has resulted in them being distant with each other and lying to each other about their general activities.
