Silverbay
The gold might be imported, but the silver was home-wroughtSilverbay is a body of water which makes up much of the Kingdom of Arsavela's northwestern shore where Brineveil Forest meets the sea.
Arsavela's Silvered Shores
Silverbay is known for its salt-crusted sands which glint in the light in a way often compared to the sheen of dappled silver sheets, a comparison from which the region acquired its name. The Saline Port
At the shores of Silverbay lies Silverbay Port, a maritime city once known to be the Kingdom's most reliable trade hub with the regions to the Kingdom's north, rarely making the journey around the landmass to pursue southern trade routes. Though still fairly reliable with northern trade, the southern routes are seldom frequented by ships setting out from Silverbay Port. The city continues to be the prime source of salt and other minerals in the Kingdom, maintaining direct lines of trade with the capital city.Outsourcing Meals
The bay itself is not a particularly good fishing location, given its high salinity, and this quality in the waters has forced local boatmakers to adapt the buoyancy of their ships to ensure they may safely travel between their heavily salted waters and the ocean beyond without incident. Those who reside along the coast often need to travel to acquire foods, whether it be fish from the Northlands, produce from the Harvest Belt, or imported goods from Aurel. Hunting in the Brineveil Forest is another viable option, though the people seem more inclined to travel elsewhere
