My personal favorites among the entries for historical figures still venerated today!

My Judging Experience
I was presented a grand total of 300 entries for this prompt! Not the highest of the bunch, for certain (lookin' at you, Prompt #1) or the lowest, but it was quite the challenge!   You worldbuilders did not make it easy for me to pick and choose my favorites. In fact, it was pretty tough having to make so many cuts to get down to my longlist... and picking a shortlist from that was even harder! AND picking the winner?   Catch me screaming just like the Glamorous Peafowl as I present my final list to you! Winner to be revealed during the ceremony!

Our Winner: Old King Caed by Stormbril

Stormbril's writing just has a way of making me feel the energy of his world pouring from his articles. Old King Caed has a deeply uneasy feeling about him, and it reached me even as a reader. And, much like the humans of Cathedris, that heavy weight isn't stopping me from wanting to explore his god-husk's secrets further.
