Myren

This article is a work-in-progress, just getting started! Lots of ideas have been haphazardly dumped here in the meantime! Enjoy!

The Myren are Eldwrought who often appear in places with strong leyline activity, developing an aversion to the arcane that aligns with a newly developed dependence on the natural world and the elements.

Physical Appearances

Many transformations among the Myren appear as subtle changes to natural human form, typically occurring as shifts in skin tone and texture, and the reinforcement of certain functional systems. This can include thickening of the skin, hardening of the bones, or the development of features that may better aid living in less-developed environments.

Myren Populations

Cities Unpaved

The Lessai people of the densely-wooded forests of Nimavi are a population of Myren who were forced to abandon their historic city homes due to the transformations to their physiology brought upon by the emergence of the Leyline of Genesis, in addition to the leaching presence of the Leyline of Potency in their major cities. Their connection to nature and their relationship with the spirits of the forest brought them to shun the arcane, and left them with a dependence to the functions of the natural world.

Volcanic Churn

In the most active corners of Bolkan, one population of Myren hide away in the bubbling caves of the mountains. Fortifying themselves against the brunt of the Leyline of Agitation's energy, they make their homes among the lava pools and share these blistering homes with the primal spirits of flame who arose from their slumber alongside the emergence of the leyline.
