Seek a new dawn, in Malkora!

Ceazan

This article is a work-in-progress, just getting started! Lots of ideas have been haphazardly dumped here in the meantime! Enjoy!

The Ceazan are leyborne humans sometimes referred to as the ley-bound. They are identified by transformations caused by leyline emergences or arcane power which have left them dependent, in some way, on that magic source for quality of life or survival.

Visible Markings

Ceazan do not typically undergo many physical transformations that affect their outward appearance. Their transformations are typically internal, primarily affecting their inner physiology and relationship to Malkora's arcane floes. Boharin of leyborne blood may find themselves undergoing the transition into Ceazan when exposed to traces of leyline energy that rapidly intensify, as it often occurs when a new leyline emergence is introduced to a region.
Ceazan populations which continue to reside in these lands retain their arcane dependence generationally.

Ceazan Populations

The Split Wood

One notable populations of ceazan is the Valsheri who reside in the major cities of Nimavi. These arcane-attuned humans once shared their sprawling cities with the neighboring Lessai, though the shifting of the leylines in their region forced them to part ways as their shifted physiologies left them with deeply contrasting lifestyle needs.

Shadowed Folk

In the null-magic lands of Yulrorim reside the Umbralin who, in spite of a total absence of arcane energy, found themselves bound to the whims of the Leyline of Oblivion. Bound as they are to its consuming force, they endeavor to extend the leyline's influence so that their own reach may expand in kind.
