The Alabaster Hand

We are protectors of this kingdom. Nay, this world. Where darkness and its ilk breeds, there we sow the seeds of purity. It is solely by our vigilance that it takes root.   We are the Purifier's Hand.
— High Exarch Antonius Ral
The Alabaster Hand is the primary order of Atreimus, the Purifier, the shard of Atreimus, Strength Incarnate known to the people of the Kingdom of Arsavela.

Driving Back the Dark

One of the oldest organizations to exist in the Kingdom of Arsavela, the Alabaster Hand was formed at the very turn of the new age. As humanity fought against the forces of Oblivion with the empowerment of the newly-realized gods, Atreimus himself raised the populations of Arsavela to their feet to continue their fight, and his first order stood the test of time to the modern day.

Securing the Kingdom

Historically, the Alabaster Hand was known to be a militaristic organization, maintaining armed forces, protecting the kingdom, and maintaining order as a form of law enforcement throughout Arsavela. With influence in most of the kingdom's settlements, and a strong foothold within Aurel, the Hand secured its place within the daily operation of the kingdom at its conception, and later in the hearts of the people as they developed monastic branches and places of worship.

Defilers of the Throne

The throne of Aurel was held by the Arsaces Family for almost as long as the Alabaster Hand existed, this line of rule only ending when the Hand stepped into the role of judge, jury, and executioner. With claims that the monarchy had defiled the throne, accusations of the late queen consorting with dark forces, and warnings of imminent judgment by the gods themselves, the Hand enacted the deposition of the monarchy in a hall crowded with subjects who once claimed they would sacrifice all in the Arsaces name.
The will of Atreimus dictates: the faithful must protect their homes. But where is the line?
