The Fracture

The Fracture is a seemingly bottomless crack in the earth located in Dead Man's Basin and is directly next to Yug. Brave adventurers initially scaled down The Fracture and found that the rock faces contain a multitude of unexplored caves and precious minerals.

Within a year of the findings, fortune hunters flocked to The Fracture and began mining operations. Miners have traversed hundreds of feet deep but are yet to see the bottom of The Fracture.

The Fracture was initially part of the Kingdom of Maith, however due to the difficult travel across the The Farigha Desert, their hold over the land was quickly lost to rebels who eventually formed the Republic of Tawg.

The Fracture is also the home of the Deep Elves and Deep Dwarves. The vast majority of Deep Elves and Deep Dwarves originate from The Fracture, with few exceptions for surfacers.
