Mountain Spirit
The Mountain Spirit was the High Spirit of the western mountain range, until he was killed. His death outraged the Sun Spirit, but few others missed him.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Built like a boulder, he was big. Tall, muscular, very strong and surprisingly nimble and swift. Dangerously so.
Body Features
Light brown skin, slate-like plates for fingernails
Facial Features
Handsome face, except for the number of scars on it. The ugliest one twists from his right cheekbone along his jaw and down his neck almost to his collarbone. He would mark it in red paint to make it stick out.
Special abilities
As a High Spirit he controlled the mountains, similar to how the Grass Spirit controls the grasslands.
He could high spirit bind.
Supposedly he had an animal form, but no one ever saw it or knew what it was.
Apparel & Accessories
He would wear the bones of his enemies on his clothes, as trophies.
Specialized Equipment
He carried a tomahawk sharp and hard enough to chop through stone. Just having it touch any part of your body inflicted enough pain to drive you mad. He could choose which specific pain to inflict, from starvation to boiling blood to stripping muscle from bone, to any other of the variety of pains he'd collected. The pains came from his doing it himself, i.e. if he'd broken each individual bone in someone's body, then his tomahawk could inflict the same pain without the actual damage from then on.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
During the Lawless Cycle he would cause the most trouble for the world. After the Sun Spirit stepped in and made Laws, the Mountain Spirit would get as close as he could to breaking those laws, just to cause trouble for the Sun Spirit. The Sun Spirit only managed to control him by giving him leave to torture no-heartbeat creatures, and that was why he drove the rebel tribe to the mountains, because the Mountain Spirit was hungry for more playthings.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Really bad at doing his actual job of managing the mountains.
Likes & Dislikes
Liked to abuse his power and strength
Disliked the other High Spirits and rainstorms.
Vices & Personality flaws
Literally everything about him was awful. He was a cookie-cut villain and enjoyed it.
Hygiene
Bathed often, but was more often tromping around in the mud.
Social
Mannerisms
Loud, rude, offensive, crude, all the things.
Hobbies & Pets
He really enjoyed torturing no-heartbeat creatures, shifters especially.
Relationships
History
They were lovers for a short time only, just a few winters before the Mountain Spirit was killed and the River Spirit left heartbroken. Because of their broken romance, the River Spirit has sworn to never love again. Their courtship was not a healthy one.
Legal Status
The Sun Spirit did not approve of their relationship, as the first time they loved, it messed with the seasons and resulted in a late spring and bad drought. The Sun Spirit allowed them to be lovers, as long as they continued to do their jobs.
