Personal history
born to a korean woman immigrant to hawaii who fell for native man. born 1900, moved to Honolulu to work as WW2 began, lived through Pearl Harbor when she awoke. Was drawn to California where she met her mentor Yon Kim, under the guise of his daughter he taught her about the ether. Along their travels Yon met his end after confronting the Manson family.
She moved to Chicago in the 80s ascending to arch mage during that time. As part of a group of Sons of Ether studying the lake's ether the Avatar Storm struck, she was forced from the Umbra having failed to save her colleagues. She was the main figure in the cleanup after the storm, forming the new council with the help of Isabell. The two of them carved out the Midwest territory and power structure of the council.
