Allart

Allart is the latest name for a truly diverse group of enterprising engineering outfits. Individually lacking in political and social power, together they monitor, maintain, build, and rebuild nearly all physical infrastructure on Iolar worlds. Architecture, city planning, sewage, energy distribution, all fall under one or more of Allart’s development divisions and by pure membership numbers it is estimated to be the largest Enclave. This is something of a cheat, however, since its various departments have had conflicts as divisive as any clan war or Enclave grievance. Their greatest achievement was the implementation of semi-autonomous maker systems, affectionately called SAMies, which they deploy to terraform otherwise marginally habitable planets. The processes are dearly held secrets and only two systems are permitted in the field at a time to ensure maximum security.   Otherwise, Allart fields legions of men and machines to build up the strongholds, cities, and sewers that make up Iolar civilization. They frequently come into conflict with the Alloministry over their dispensation and funding, being the only fully publicly funded Enclave (though this does not prevent upper class members of Iolar society from making “donations.”) But the gears of civilization must be kept turning lest they seize forever so members of Allart can be found almost everywhere. Of the enclaves it is also the only one to sponsor public advancement into its ranks, while all others require self-starting, exceptional individuals to make a name for themselves first and then appeal to the Enclaves for membership (or reap the rewards of nepotism as is often the case). The current leader of Allart is Copper Seer Vigo Jasen, though the rank is very ceremonial and he participates in the day-to-day activities of the organization as much as any other standard member.
