Hitram
The continent of Hitram is by far the most unstable of all lands in Lusamiel, twenty five hundred years ago the Drow began annual invasions every thirty years. This led to the creation of the Hitramite League for the protection of every kingdom and person, however after almost a century of no Drow invasion, the alliance grows weaker and weaker with every passing month. Most fear what will happen should the league completely break down, and even more fear another invasion, greater and more devastating than any other before it.
The Hitramite League is split into five recognized nations, with neighboring islands and the southern desert not being considered nations under the league's charter. These are the three Kingdoms of Men: Hagrus, Ruschez, and Santiel. The two Holdings of Dwarves: Dunram and Guldranmar. And the One Nation of Elvenkind, Ealorin. There is also the independent dwarven hold of Dabdan that is closely allied with the league but is not an official member.
There are also the Desert of Onrakh to the south of the high mountains of the Schism that has no official nations but do have a native people in the Mokari, the Order of Life which is a druidic circle of some power in the region, and a Tlincalli city where the scorpion-folk buy and sell slaves.
The islandic neighbors of the Hitram mainland are also considered part of Hitram, these are the Shifting Isles just west of the northern kingdom of Hagrus which are home to the Changelings and Doppelgangers. Liore east of the continent which is largely wild but inhabited by two warring civilizations of orcs and half-ogres as well as some Goblinoids tribes. And the Dragon Claws which are a widely diverse archipelago to the direct southeast of the Desert of Onrakh. There is the island of Farmire, but that is close enough to the mainland and is controlled by Ruschez so it is not usually considered an islandic territory.
Hitram is part of the greater Hadran Landmass, while Hitram takes up most of the landmass there is also the neighboring Kvitheim and Warmynx that are part of Hadran.
Geography
The Vatheren mountains split the continent in two before meeting with the Schism in the south in a \ shape, the geography of the continent is widely diverse but as a general rule the western half of the mountains are dryer than the eastern half.
History
Hitram has long been considered the cradle of mortals, as most histories tell of when all races lived near each other on the continent's during the days of Mokar. Now while there are remnants of other races living there, the dwarven, elven, and human races are the dominant class on the continent. There are many ruins left on the continent from lost cities from either the Demonic Incursion or the Drow invasions. But one event has stuck in the minds of Hitramites.
The Dark Rain occurred three hundred and twelve years prior to the current year and it marked a period of time when the Shadowfell began to press into the mortal plane specifically on the Hadran landmass. This event caused chaos in the Underdark and the surface alike. It turned lakes into inky masses of shadow, caused necrotic rain to kill thousands and permanently change others into the Darktouched. Since then the fear of the dark, particularly magic drawn from the Shadowfell, has grown into outright hysteria in some places.
Tourism
The eighty two invasions of Drow has left the nations of Hitram highly skilled in defensive military and they have had little opportunity otherwise to advance technology, now with no invasion in a century, it is experiencing a cultural and creative renaissance. This draws many outsiders to the continent to see how cities like Three Rivers, Mount Anrath, or Konderdale.

The Thawed Coast
"The wild, wild land of the Thawed Coast is like a world unto itself and I'd wager it is a fantastic place for peace and quiet. Or to keep out of sight." Adrik Deep-Dweller
The Thawed Coast sits nestled between the northern Vatheren Mountains and the Alvarese Gulf, making it a highly secluded part of the world. Due to pirates in the north, the Kiestavs of Hagrus have little control over what is technically their territory, and that is just how they like it. Whether it is the magically charged Lanonvale or the nearly tribal Barony, the Thawed Coast has no shortage of mysteries or adventure.
