✓ The Search for Tacton

While reading a mysterious tome titled The Visions of Or’Voth, Mind was struck by a powerful vision—an echo of the past showing two legendary heroes: Pip and Tacton, famed for surviving the Tomb of Annihilation. In the vision, the duo was desperately fleeing through a treacherous mountain range. The ground trembled with frequent earthquakes, and massive boulders rained from the sky, almost as if they were being targeted. Amid the chaos, the pair spotted a cave and dashed inside for shelter. Within the cave, it seemed as if they'd finally found safety. But fate had other plans. A colossal boulder slammed into the mountain, shaking it to its core. The impact triggered a devastating cave-in. Pip—small and unprepared—would have been crushed had it not been for Tacton, who threw himself in harm's way to shove the Grung to safety. As rocks rained down, Tacton was buried beneath the rubble—Pip's mandolin crushed along with him, making it impossible for Pip to use magic to save him.   Panicked and heartbroken, Pip tried to free his friend, but his tiny form lacked the strength to move the stones. Tacton, with what strength he had left, urged Pip to leave. The world still needed him, and he could return later. With great reluctance and grief, Pip pressed on, disappearing into the depths of the cave—alone. Shaken by what he saw, Mind shared the vision with his companions and with his colleague, Mot’Jhazar. Jhazar, intrigued, offered new insights. He believed the heroes to be the very same Pip and Tacton who later fought in a brutal war—one that claimed both their lives. However, Tacton’s fate had always remained uncertain.   The vision hinted at an unresolved ending. Based on historical accounts of their final deeds and the landscape Mind described, Jhazar theorized that Tacton might still lie buried somewhere in the northern mountains beyond Arsica—a place Pip had once longed to return to, but never could.   Driven by this revelation, the Order of Adamant resolved to seek out the lost hero themselves. They journeyed north to the snow-capped ranges above Arsica and began exploring the ancient caves. But just as they ventured deeper in, they were ambushed and captured by Skaven, throwing their noble quest into sudden jeopardy...

They all admired Tacton and his legendary even mythical status. Drajag and his Skaven assistant had already managed to mend some fingers and an arm. They decided to take what they came for and took Tacton's remains with them as they escaped Skaven Town.   Once back in the safety of their Keep of Adamant, they decided to arrange a few things. Tacton wasn't just a regular Warforged and no one knew for sure if anyone was still looking for him just like they had. And so, they arranged Ornn and his Bugbear friends to guard the Keep.
