Sonuri (zo-nu-ri)
Sonuri, which in their language roughly translates to "moving", is a nomadic people living in Suganuran. Some live in the neighboring countries, but since the people of this ethnicity went together to form Suganuran, most of them still live there. Them being of a different species than the people in the neighbouring countries also make it difficult for them to settle anywhere else.
The Sonuri people are of the Kinuke species, which means that they do not have any gender or sex. Therefore their naming traditions do not include gendered names.

Naming Traditions
Family names
Family names are extremely important to the Sonuri people because they tend to think more in a sense of community than individuality. Therefore thenabatu is more important than the individual's personal name and comes before the personal name.

Other names
Personal names, called rapibatu, are often chosen with care by the pin. It is only the pin that will use this name to differentiate between other members of the pin. People outside the pin will call the person by their nabatu, not their rabibatu.
When choosing a rabibatu for the newly hatched, a kisun of the plain is called for and they will predict key things about the child's life to come. This prophecy will then be the base for the name, and the child will be named something related to this.
Other names might be related to their coming profession like Gobun, Sapun, Kensa, Engunen, etc.
Common rabibatu
There are some names that will be used for many children since their lives will be similar. Names like Soginin, Kesopombi, Banda, Rumbon and Nanretain are not uncommon.Other names might be related to their coming profession like Gobun, Sapun, Kensa, Engunen, etc.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Since the Sonuri people live concentrated in Suganuran, except for a few groups, they speak the official tongue of the country. In fact, the Uimben nudomba is closely related to the Nuran Bati religion; an organized folk religion of the Sonuri. Uimben nudomba is supposedly the only language that the gods communicate in.
