History
The
nio of
Nulmagio came to visit
Vermegia in 556. It was a diplomatic visit, meant for Vermegia's
nio to be able to show his loyalty to Nulmagio, in exchange for an arrangement for Nulmagio to provide the Vermegian army with weapons.
When Francescco laid eyes on Vanna, only fifteen at the time, he knew he had to have her. He made advancements on her, but was refuted quickly. Not one to be discouraged, he made an arrangement with her
Ezzio, the
nio and her
tuso.
The marriageable age in Vermegia is 18, but in Nulmagio it was only fourteen at the time. Francescco was not content to wait three years for Vanna to turn 18, so he convinced Ezzio that a compromise would be to let her get married at 16, since that was in the middle of the two ages.
And so, Vanna and Francescco were married in 557 and she moved to
Sambano. She would always resent her
tuso Ezzio for agreeing to the marriage. Her life in Sambano would not be easy; Francescco was a cruel and lustful man and she would have little freedom to move about or do anything at all.
As if Francescco's horrible personality were not enough, he also had a 19 year old
piro,
Gilverdo who also had his eye on her. When Francescco found out about his piro's wandering hands he sent him away to Nøhumaa, to secure trade deals with them. This was not an act of care for his
squice, it was to have her all to himself. He did not care for her feelings or wants.
After living ten years with him, Vanna started poisoning her
vencu. It was a slow working poison that would render him unable to move or speak after five years of daily consumption. Gilverdo had contracted an infection in Nøhumaa and died in 564, so when Francescco was unable to rule in 572 there was no heir. Vanna acted as ruler in his stead, gaining the title of
niomala. Francescco finally drew his last painful breath in 586, but Vanna would rule Nulmagio until her death in 614.

History
It was a marriage arranged by their parents. She was the daughter of Tiumelo, a quoneccolu with a lot of influence. Francescco never liked her, but he agreed to marry her. She was infatuated with him from the moment she met him. They married in 536, when he was 16 and she was 14. Two years later they produced an heir, Gilverdo, and after that Francescco refused to touch his squice. Instead he spent quite a lot of time at the city's brothel, and on travels to different countries, working to secure good trade deals. In 547, Ciolanda got sick when Francescco was on one of these trips, and they sent word to him, but he was to late to see her before she died. He felt no sorrow when she died, but he was annoyed that he would have to get someone to look after nine year old Gilverdo.

History
When Gilverdo was born in 538, Francescco was happy to have concieved an heir, but not much else. He was not one with parental love for his piro. In fact he was at home even less after Gilverdo was born, and they never had much of a relationship at all. Francescco only valued Gilverdo as his heir. The relationship was far more important to Gilverdo, but he could not do much to improve it when his giuzzio was never home. Then, Gilverdo's mother, Ciolanda, died after a short illness and Francescco was home for a few months before he left again.
In 557, when Gilverdo was 19, his
giuzzio married a young woman from
Vermegia, named
Vanna. Gilverdo was attracted to this Vanna, who was a few years younger than himself. He made advancements, despite her clear refusal. After a few years of this, Francescco found out and punished his
piro by sending him to Nøhumaa to secure trade with them. Unfortunatley, Gilverdo would fall ill and die there in 564.
