History
It was a marriage arranged by their parents. She was the daughter of Tiumelo, a quoneccolu with a lot of influence. Francescco never liked her, but he agreed to marry her. She was infatuated with him from the moment she met him. They married in 536, when he was 16 and she was 14. Two years later they produced an heir, Gilverdo, and after that Francescco refused to touch his squice. Instead he spent quite a lot of time at the city's brothel, and on travels to different countries, working to secure good trade deals. In 547, Ciolanda got sick when Francescco was on one of these trips, and they sent word to him, but he was to late to see her before she died. He felt no sorrow when she died, but he was annoyed that he would have to get someone to look after nine year old Gilverdo.
