Airi (Ai-ree)

Airi is a skinny girl with a short stature and pale-ish skin. This is due to the neglect she experienced in the first few years of her life. She has light ashy brown hair that's usually in braids.

Airi has a soft heart-shaped face, heart-shaped lips and monolid eyes as she is of Asian descent.

Airi is known for wearing purple or pink wrap around dresses or shirts with a red tie to keep it in place and a white cardigan.

The Fukuyama family has the ability to see and hear ghost at all time, and Airi inherited this ability. The discord family has a similar ability, only they can choose if and when they want to see or hear a ghost. Airi wasn't aware of this ability until she moved to her birthplace and began seeing spirits all over the place. Mostly train station, which led her to dislike them.

Airi had many outfits. As a child, she wore a long-sleeve magenta pink skater dress with a red bow wrapped around it, a white sweater, and gladiator shoes. As a pre-teen, Carole sewed a purple kimono style shirt for Airi with a red tie. Airi wore it with a long pink knee-length skirt, black gladiator sandals and a pink sweater. Most of the time, Airi wore long white wristlet gloves that covered her forearm. She wore them because weird markings would appear. Some people assumed she self-harmed while her peers thought it was for fashion reasons. As a teen she wore a short dark purple Kimono-like dress, sewed by Carole, with a dark-pink dress belt tied into a bow and black espadrilles. Before leaving Lokerren, Airi wore a white Haori sent to her by her sister, Darika.  While in Japan, before becoming a maiko, Airi wore a white shirt dress with a light-weight pink hoodie, black Mary janes and stockings. She also wore a maid outfit. As a Maiko and Geisha, Airi wore traditional Japanese clothing with a black wig and white makeup.

Airi was abandoned by her parents after her father left and married someone else. He didn't want Airi so left her with her mother, but her mother abandoned Airi because she constantly reminded her of her husband. Airi was adopted by Pastor Nick Ellis and taken to Lokerren village. Airi went to school where she met Zelus, who had a crush on her.   As a teen, Airi was getting insecure about herself and her culture. Her adopted mom tried making her feel better by sewing Kimonos or kimono-liked clothing and cooking Japanese food, but it didn't work that much. One day, she got a letter from her twin Sister, Darika, saying that she should come home. While hesitant, Airi agreed, and on her last few days at Lokerren she became rude and cold towards people. Last person she talked to was Zelus, who admitted his feelings for her. She responded in a rude way, saying bad things about village and mocking Zelus for considering it home. She even told him that he should give up on his dream of becoming a lawyer because no college is going to accept someone with an 8th grade education. He responded by saying her parents won't be happy with her 8th grade education and ask what she'll be when he's a lawyer. Airi didn't respond and Zelus walked away.   When Airi returned to Watashina, she went to see her mother who wanted her to convert to Shintoism. Airi refused and her mother got angry and kicked Airi out. When she went to see her father, he wasn't happy at all. While her sister was nice, she would pick on Airi. Darika tried getting Airi involved in a scandal about her fake kidnapping. Airi found a Geiko tea house and became a Maiko. While it was a respectable job, Airi felt like she could do better. She did give up once she had enough to support herself. She wasn't allowed to be in a relationship while being a Geisha and didn't get the chance to date.   a few years later, Airi saw Zelus with Darika while she was doing a performance at a tea house. When She confronted her sister, Darika mocked Airi for rejecting Zelus and said some suggestive things. She eventually moved back to New Roseburg, as per her sisters request.   34 years later, Airi finally returned to Lokerren village, where she was welcomed by everyone. She found out that almost everyone she knew in the village got married and had kids, even her own parents had a daughter because they were very upset with Airi's decision to leave. She also met Zelus, who was with his youngest daughter Nyx. Airi felt bad because Zelus was a lawyer, a well-known one, and he had four kids. Upon hearing that he divorced his wife, Airi had a feeling of hope that maybe Zelus still loved her and would want to be with her. Unfortunately, it was too late. Zelus lost interest the moment Airi insulted him and his dream of becoming a lawyer. Airi mentioned what Zelus said and told him she was right, that he'll be successful and happy and she won't, and she wasn't. Zelus asked her what made her think her parents would accept her with open arms when they abandoned her in the first place.   optional, but Airi ran into another classmate. Eckhard, who was also in the law field. They got married and had a son and daughter. Like Zelus, Micah was too busy with work but Airi didn't care because at least she was married and had kids.

Like all kids in her generation, Airi attended a one room School house taught by Carole Ellis, her adopted mother. She was there from 1st all the way to 8th grade. After that, many kids went to help their parents with the farm or shop. Airi helped her mother out at the tailor shop.

Airi's first job was helping her mother out at the tailor shop, or helping her dad organize church events. After moving to Watashina and being rejected by her parents, Airi worked as a maid. One day, her sister Darika took her to a tea house where Geisha would perform. Airi was interested and asked, they accepted her and she started off as a Maiko, then a Geisha. It was fun and exciting at first but Airi got tired of putting on white makeup, wigs, and dressing up and dancing. When she moved back to Lokerren, Airi started a tea shop.

Airi was abandoned by her mother after her father left with her twin sister. Because of that, Airi had a hard time forming relationships and tried not to socialize. As she grew up in Lokerren, she became a little less shy and was friends with some classmates.

Airi grew up in Lokerren and made friends with most of the villagers. Zelus had a crush on her, but after she told him to give up on his dreams he lost all interest.

Airi was adopted by Pastor Nick Ellis, whose wife is the aunt of Zelus's ex-wife Pandora. Her mother was a Miko(Female Priest for shinto) and her father was a politician. She has a sister, Darika, who attended Rosewood university and had a crush on Zelus. She was killed by her Ex-boyfriend, who did it for her step-sister. Airi also has a half-sister on her mother's side. Years later, Airi met a childhood friend and they got married and had two kids. Her husband was busy with work and rarely came home, but Airi didn't care as she wanted kids.

Airi was adopted by a Pastor and attended church and other church gatherings. She held onto to her faith even after leaving Lokerren, which is why she refused to convert to Shintoism when her mom asked her to.

Airi is very shy and would rather keep to herself, but is very well-mannered.

Airi knows how to sew, cook, Garden, Bake, play piano, and Lazarus taught her how to Knit. Airi also enjoys reading and learned how to dance and do make-up when she was a Maiko.

Airi has a gentle voice

When she left Lokerren, Airi took a job as waitress, which we all know doesn't pay well. She later became a Geisha which paid better. It took years but once Airi saved up enough money from being a Geisha, she finally moved back to Lokerren. She tried moving back earlier but something always got in the way.
