Chapter 2: Triboar Travelers

A Jarls concern

Jarl Amrial had recruited the help of the Triboar Travelers to investigate an issue with the trade routes closing to the island nations of Oswary. Recently vessels sent north have not been returning, and those that do are filled with dead traders, frozen in fear.
Sending the Triboar Travelers north, with the mission to protect his scout and right-hand man Ramiel. Seeking to find any information on the stop in trade and perhaps the situation of the Frozen Keep.

Traveling North

Traveling by Sea, the Triboar Travelers "procured" a moderately sized ship named the Hemmingway. Garnering the wages from the city of Navara's vault, stealing away with the 20k needed to procure owner ship of the boat.
After undocking, Ramiel divvied out orders to the Travelers giving each one an individual an active position to tend to the ship as they travel.
Dealing with a wide range of threats ranging from Pirates to Sahuagins all the way to the threats of the treacherous weather of the open sea.
The trip takes a turn for the worst when a trading vessel flying the Suncester colors is torn down into the sea by a mighty leviathan kraken. Pulling east by a Raven, Ramiel guides the party to the safety of an unmarked Island.

The Zaratan

The party found purchase in a small cove on the side of the island. Anchoring their ship and disembarking they discovered a strangle tortle statue that guided them to dig deeper into the dense jungle, encountering more ruins and strange creatures, as well as a race of Goblins who we're led by a single Tortle woman named Kuo.
During their discussions with Kuo it is revealed that the island is the home of the Koblin creatures and they are threatened by the arrival of Kraken priests who have awoken the Leviathen from it's rest. Asking the players for help, the Triboar Travelers engaged with the Kraken priests in their devilish caverns before felling two of the three priests, both Leif and Orto fell in combat. Ritually buring Leif and giving the petrified body of Orto to Kuo, the party chased the third priest through a whirlpool which teleported them deep beneath the ocean to a descrated temple of Umberlee. Clearing some of the desecration from a shrine and offering quick prayer, the party moved deeper into the temple, clearing out demons and monstrosities summoned by the Kraken Cult. Rescuing a halfing artificer who had been imprisoned there and securing the alliance of one of Umberlees surviving members the party managed to destroy the last of the kraken priests before narrowly escaping the flooding temple through the same portal they entered.
Saving the island folks from the Kraken priests revieled that the island was actually a Zaratan, a giant turtle entity from the plane of earth, who had been sucked into the material realm by a minor collision of the realms and began to die with out proper food found itself stranded with Kuo and her Koblins. Once the Kraken Priests had been removed, Kuo was able to return the Zaratan and her people to their home realm taking Ortos stone form with them, promising to bring him back to life.

Eye of the North, Lamware Warf

Upon traversing the Moving Ice walls that naturally swarm around the southern boarder of the the Travelers discovered a group of Bandits that underestimated the Triboar Travelers. Learning that other groups had been sent north by the Jarl of Navara, but none as prestigious as Ramiel.
Working their way through the Ice the party found themselves on the southernmost island, Lamware Warf, also known as Eye of the North due to the massive light tower that stands high on the glaciers shore.
