Xing (興) 989 - 1071
1071 - The Fourth Sunwheel falls, immediately followed by a gigantic series of revolts against the Xing dynasty, eventually leading to its destruction.

1462 - The Fifth Sunwheel falls. Shortly after, the imperial palace is destroyed in a fire, with the emperor dying during the incident. His three-year old heir becomes emperor.

2119 - At the Battle of the Wang River in the Xwmkab Highlands, the Liang forces sustain catastrophic losses after a dam above their camp is destroyed, causing the valley to flood, leaving the army crippled and preventing them from effectively halting the forces of the Long dynasty.

2121 - The capital of the nation is moved from Lingyan to Dingjun, which is more firmly under the control of the Long dynasty.
2153 - The imperial palace of Dingjun is finished, and the city is renamed to Shengmu in the same year.
2199 - The Huanglong Taixue opens.
2534 - The country officially changes name from Long to Longshan.
2538-2552 - The Xwmkab Independence War begins in the city of Danxia, quickly spreading to the entire Xwmkab region. The cause of the initial revolt was the desire for a Xwmkab state. The war caused many casualties for Longshan, Hsipaw and Bayon before the revolts were eventually quelled. 2570 - Excavations near Qixia uncovers a humongous underground complex. Further excavations reveal that the lost Hypostasis of Clay was located within the structure, implying it to be Nuwa's mausoleum.

Demography and Population
Longshan has a total population of 34,220,000, as of the end of 2570. This is split between 84% Long, 7% Xwmkab, and the last 6% split between many other nationalities.
The population is evenly spread out on the Zhongyan plain. In recent times, the population has rapidly started to concentrate in cities. As of 2571, about 16,425,600, or 48% of the total population live in urban areas.

Agriculture & Industry
Longshan is an agricultural powerhouse, as it's location on the flat Zhongyan plain, along with the water from the Liancheng River creates a very fertile environment.
Additionally, the latitude of Longshan makes it possible to have a second harvest every year, further increasing the crop yield.
The most common crop is rice, followed by sorghum. A large portion of the yearly yield is exported for profit to countries like the Republic of Wakoku and Hsipaw
