Iridio-Coleo
Coleos are Iridios (elf-animal-hybrid) that have a humanoid beetle body.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Coleo's backs are usually very large and round-shaped. They all have wings, though they hardly use them due to their increased weight. Like all Iridio-Entomar, they have a powerful exoesqueleton and 4 arms.
Growth Rate & Stages
Coleos go through metamorphosis, so they are born as defenseless larvae that have to be carefully tended by the parents. If properly fed and cared, they'll exponentially grow during the first few years of their lives, starting their pupa stage at around 13 years old. They stay in a pupa for nearly four years (give or take) and emerge into their "adult" bodies when they finish that stage. They do not grow anymore after that.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Coleos are usually solitary and do not form monogamic relationships.
Facial characteristics
Coleos have different faces, but they all resemble one of a beetle. Some of the have huge protruding horns, while others have more simple and shabby facial features.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Some of them live in the The Enchanted Jungle and Iridionisi, but most of them are located in the Olta-Man Desert and The Everchanging Marshes.
Average Intelligence
Coleos are not particularly smart, but can be very cunning and wise.
