Ögro Boros

Ögro Boros means Eastern Region in Dwarvish language.

Geography

This region is located in the northeastern part of North-Adwana. It is limited by the Eastern Mountains (located to the west. I know, it's ironic), the Red Woods to the south and the The Lost Sea to the east. The Frost River course through the area. It is a very cold tundra area, and has become even colder due to the The Weakening of the Sea Goblin Oceanic Current. Because of that, the region is prone to more natural disasters related to frost storms and incredibly high-temperature drops.

Ecosystem

On the southern part, this region still is made of boreal forests (known as the Red Woods). However, as one goes up north, the region turns into a tundra biome, becoming colder and colder with that.

Localized Phenomena

This area has been heating on the last centuries BBE and the firsts of ABE due to the The Weakening of the Sea Goblin Oceanic Current. Therefore, frost storms and huge sudden drops in temperature are very common phenomena here.

In the tundra, mosses and grasses are generally characteristic of the flora, while large mammals and birds are usually the ones that make up for the fauna In the boreal forest to the south, pine trees are the most common type of plant, dominating the landscape completely
