Jurian Uchiumi (ジュリアン ウチウミ Ju-ri-an U-chi-u-mi)

Jurian Uchiumi was born in the serene coastal town of Shizuoka, near the picturesque Shirahama Beach. His family owned the renowned resort hotel, Kin no Kai, translated as "Golden Shell." The Uchiumi family was well-regarded in the community, known for their hospitality and deep connection to the local culture. However, their peaceful life was shattered when Jurian's father was brutally murdered by a gang of foreign criminals known as the White Tiger Triads. The tragedy left a deep scar on Jurian and his mother, as they struggled to cope with the loss and the ensuing chaos.   From a young age, Jurian exhibited a remarkable talent for cooking, particularly with seafood, and dreamed of becoming a fisherman. However, his aspirations were thwarted, leaving him to pursue fishing as a hobby. His life took a harrowing turn when he encountered a shark in the ocean. The vicious battle left him severely injured and with large, permanent scars, including a visible bite mark on his chest. Driven by a quest for revenge and the need to confront his fears, Jurian spent countless hours searching for the shark that had almost claimed his life, though he never encountered it again.   The situation with the White Tiger Triads worsened when their hotel was set ablaze by them. Jurian struggled to support his mother through odd jobs and his fishing hobby, but it wasn't enough. His mother was eventually placed in a program that severely limited their time together. In a desperate bid to reunite with her, Jurian took up a business opportunity in Tokyo, which promised access to his mother if he relocated there and lived under the guise of a businessman.   In Tokyo, Jurian's path crossed once more with the White Tiger Triads, leading to a brutal encounter that left him battered and desperate. Seeking protection and a means to fight back, he discovered a vigilante group posing as a security company. Although initially disillusioned, Jurian joined the organization, only to realize that he had aligned himself with a Yakuza group. Contrary to his expectations, the Yakuza were not the ruthless criminals he had imagined but a group of individuals who, like him, had been shaped by hardship and injustice.   Embracing his new life with the Yakuza, Jurian, now known as the "Big Guy from Shizuoka," found a new sense of purpose. Despite his distinct accent and mannerisms, he earned a reputation as a stern leader and was responsible for ensuring that the conflict with the White Tigers during the Silent War went as smoothly as it did. Following his promotion to Lieutenant after his time with the Yoshimura family, and with his old grudges left in the past, he has set his sights on the future. After avenging the destruction of his family’s resort and the death of his father, Jurian now strives to help those grieving and suffering in the same way he once did.  

Residence

Jurian and his wife Kitamari reside on North Ink Street, situated on the right side of the street. Their home is a modest apartment in a relatively well-kept building. The exterior is simple, with a dark facade and minimal decoration, blending into the urban environment. A small sushi place is located nearby. Inside, their apartment is clean and orderly, with a cozy living space that reflects their practical lifestyle.       The living room features a pair of dark leather couches surrounding a coffee table, with large windows that allow natural light to brighten the area. A dining table for four sits in the background near the open kitchen, where minimalist decor complements the neutral tones of the walls and furniture.
