Cold Iron Demons

When the second war of the demons ended and smoke and ash and magic had cleared, a whole generation of demon realised that they had more calling to lands lived in rather than the lands that called them home. That did not stop the ache in their hearts.   These demons are the second generation, their bodies often absorbing the minerals and metals of Levis rather than the irons of home, even if their parents have brought metals with them in an effort to impart some of the homeland upon their children.   The high emotions of the demons still live in their children, with tensions running high whenever emotions run strong. While some stay on the waves and the port towns with their ancestors, and others have stayed with the encampments and small, out of the way demon settlements, time has seen demons try to integrate into the greater, almost entirely foliad run settlements. While never taken on as true Levis mages, the non magic parts of Levis seem to do their best to draw the Cold Iron people into their communities and hearts.   Most of this generation fought with their new home against their people during the second demon war, rending their spiritual hearts asunder and leaving a scar within the older kin that is likely slow to fade. Being made to choose between home and homeland has set these people on a path that likely will see a breaking point, though what form that will take is yet to be decided.
