Triangulum Organization and Factions

The Triangulum's position at the upper-spinward edge of the Federacy positions it to heavily engage in activities of all sorts which concern - and often alarm - the Federacy. To that end, a number of organizations and factions are active in the region, shaping its actions, and perhaps impacting the destiny of The Federacy.    ARM University: Initial negotiators and founders of Dometown Delta, they have conceded operational control to the Dometown Transitional Group ARM University at Dometown is the main University presence in the Minos system; ARM University at Minos Base is the other AU presence.   AXE: Initially hired and sent by House Rai’ain, they maintain a presence in the system for their own reasons.   Black Sriracha: A relatively small organization involved in development of Sirikaeth as a viable illegal pharmaceutical and critical ingredient to developing psi-pharmaneutics. As an organization, they were taken out by Glaa Nasima, but there are whispers that their researchers and/or research are attempting to resurface.   Captain Bob Hawks and the Kilarious Pirates: A Federacy freighter company gone rogue. Well, that's the official story...   Dometown Transitional Authority: a team composed of official interested parties, including Xanadu, the voice of the Minans, ARM University at Dometown, and MBS.   Federacy: They are well aware that how things pan out here may very well fundamentally change the way the Federacy interacts with new races and lost colonies within its self-proclaimed "borders." They are nervous about the enormous amount of attention this system has generated. Federacy interests are monitored by FIELD - Federacy Investigative Exotic Logistics Division functioning under the auspice of the Riftside Affairs Division.   House Rai'ain*: titular owner of Minos Base, they incurred a significant debt from Major House Mori in order to fund their station.   Horns of Taurus: Former “negotiators” for the Minotaur tribes of Minos. Though they are speaking the loudest, they do not appear to currently have enough clout with the tribes to make claims of a world government as the various tribes are highly independent. As no other competing Minan voices are raising up, the Taurans no longer enjoy the favor of enough Minan tribes to be considered an authoritative voice of the Minans. UPDATE: The Taurans as an Organization are currently defunct, having been absorbed into Xanadu.   Machinelief, more formally, Winzeeger Machinenlief, has shown themselves to be far more active than previously known within unknown agenda. One of their cells was disrupted when the group rescued Kevin Hart; they've gone to ground since then.   Major House Mori: mineral rights were granted to them from House Rai’ain, the original explorers and founders of the Federacy presence in Minos.   Minos System Collective* - Formerly the Minos Base Settlers, this watchdog group working for the people of Minos Base, primarily insuring they they have an accurate information and that their needs are heard and understood. There are concerns they may be a front for one or more interests.   MIT* (Minan Investigative Team, spearheaded by the PCs): also known as the Alphans, they are a recent charter developed as a bilateral act of faith on the parts of the Federacy and Xanadu, one of the stronger voices of the Minans. Recently, they have reorganized as an SIU under an unusual charter seeing how they also serve the Minans as diplomats. They have been given Precursor Site oversight and have great weight in the actions of Dometown Delta.   PH4NT0M K155* is a hacker org which is currently unknown except for their verified presence in the Triangulum. They are known to be highly skilled, thought to be of mercenary bent and are of significant interest to most parties.   Xanadu* - The Council of Embracing Elders: Previously a quieter power amongst the Minans, Xanadu has become the officially recognized voice for all Minans (at least by the Minans themselves), and it is only a matter of time before they become the official voice of the Minos system. They embrace the presence of, and cooperation with, the Federati, but various events caused them to develop another strategy in dealing with the them. Once they understood the motivations and machination of the Federati, they successfully recruited the Alphans as their delegates and Diplomatic Affairs Oversight team. They cannot be taken lightly as they are still greatly misunderstood and are able to form alliances and work together with a swiftness and complexity which is uncharacteristic of peoples who are not highly developed on the technology spectrum. The fact they have essentially co-opted ARM University's entire Precursor exploration through the recruiting of their top team is not lost on anyone at the negotiation tables.   XTC* - The Xa Triangle Consortium officially are the merchantile arm of the leading Families of the Xa Triangle. For those In The Know, XTC is definitely the umbrella agency for a number of covert efforts operating in the Triangle. Though officially on Friendly terms with the Federacy, XTC's shadow operatives have been surprisingly far from home involved in questionable activities in dealings.
