Dometown Transitional Authority
A charter organization charged with developing and maintaining equitable terms for the Minans and access to their planet along with rights regarding Dometown Delta.
There are three leaders who lead the Authority:
- Chief Elder Xanan Modoea
- AU's System President Angelus Aloicious Andrews
- Colonial Affairs Advisor Tena Liter of House Rai'ain.
Public Agenda
To resolve planetary access equity and discussions of "sovereign" rights held by the Minans. This is greatly complicated by the reality that the Minans a) are an un-unified people and b) have little love for politics and outside guidance. However, they also realize that failing involvement in policy making and enforcement, they will become prey and perhaps endangered.
History
In 208 DE, the Minan Delegate to Dometown Delta stated that it was aware that they were being treated unfairly, that the Federati were using the dispersed structure of Minan society to gain rights with various Minan Clans and Tribes which were not equal and especially not equitable to the Minans as a whole and demanded that all offworlder operations cease immediately. At first they were seemingly ignored but in 212, the (at that time) ARM University President of Minos, Moises Valero, gave directive to suspend all activities and begin hearings for reparations and future negotiations. Three years later, the First Round of the Minan Accords were sound which required the Minans to have a seat at the table and that they could purchase Dometown Delta from ARM University if they desired or allow them to lease the place. Understandably, the three major factions that would be impacted greatest were the Minans, ARM University, and House Rai'ain, and their appointed officials would be the voices for findings that will eventually be presented before the Directorates of Colonization and Xenoterrestrial Affairs, currently scheduled for 222. Meanwhile, all activities outside of the Dome are currently under the overwatch of the Minans.
