2AM - 1.4 - Homecoming

REO 4

• As the Team was getting settled on Minos, it was deemed that Nora. Glaa had been tasked to take over some of the security functions by Kaylee since she was the only active Triume for MIT; the new guy Mad Mick played by Shawn was also tasked to Security and Rory was doing his computer stuff.
• While out inspecting Precursor Sites, Glaa was dispatched to check out REO 4 (Remote Exploration Outpost 4) which went dark after a nine hour dust storm in the region - the dust storms typically knock out communication.
• Drones were sent first, only to find out that the people were gone without signs of a fight. Glaa and Micha determined that they had been taken, possibly by Gemants after they had discovered an intentionally covered over tunnel in the courtyard. Perhaps more disturbingly were the facts that whoever did this took out the sentries first, and left very little physical evidence behind other than the hole. It was extraordinarily coordinated, worthy of any Special Ops team, maybe even better given the lack of clues and bodies.
• The hole was the entry to a tunnel tunnel led to an abandoned Precursor Site over 4 miles away, where they found all fourteen bodies and were able to recover two of them. They were in suspended animation in some kind of cocoon. They withdrew and found a safe entrance for a follow up party.

Back to the Bug Hole

• The follow up party consisted of Glaa, Mad Mick, Taylor, Legend, Micha, and a support team of 5 other marines. They made their way to the Site and barricaded the entrance to the area they were in - 3 Gemants were on their way up. Quickly loading the people up, they returned to Dometown Delta.
• While reviewing their data and recordings, the team determined that the Gemants simply weren't there and concluded that the Gemants have a some sort of extradimensional gateway.

You and Me and the AckAck Tree, part 1 (Session 3)

• Nora has a dream about the Bug Hole, one where she sees a tree with a dragon coiled around it
• Nora is learning more abou the dream realm and that it is very malleable to those who understand how to use it
• She and Glaa travel there via dreamscape, having figured out that they are supposed to plant the AckAck Tree there. Nora gets permission from the Minans and the tree takes root and the area becomes lush and green and starts to grow…

Curfew Violation

• Tatum is back and accompanies Gee Force to check on violators of the curfew in place because of the Gemant incursion 
• Their site was 2 days from their basecamp
• They had activated a Precursor device - maintenance node to the CM
• Glaa handled everything perfectly and with incredible empathy
• It was a test by Tatum, she’s promoted to Security Teams Director

You and Me and the AckAck Tree, part 2

• The gorup come up with interesting conclusions
• Taylor tries to put a hole in the AckAck Tree/dimensional regulation device and is promptly breathed on by the Dragon

• Taylor and Team G Locate trafficked Precursor device in warehouse region near spaceport
• Neutralize Battle Bots (as distinguished from WarBots)
• Detect mystical threat and fail to disarm it
• Oracle almost dies as both Taylor and then Glaa try to shunt the blast’s energy away - which could have taken out a significant part of the town, and definitely damaged the dome
• Messenger intervenes (they call upon Tatum, he prays)
• Tatum, Taylor, and Team Gee transported to AckAck Tree
• Team Gee pretty sure that it’s was intentional

From the Rabbit Hole to the Principal’s Office

• Makes serious headway against the Intrigue
• He needs help, Oracle’s not available. He Opens Pandora’s Box. He is almost corrupted by what he finds out later to be a Xinvader (because I can totally make this w0rk).
• Nora helps him keep it together (team invoke)

• The Gemants, either intelligent themselves or controlled by an intelligence, came from another dimension. The AckAck tree sealed and locked the doorway, giving them control from this side. It seems the entire world is a honeypot specifically designed to lure extradimensional beings.
• Nora and the Hounds go sniffing for other doorways and find several, but none active.
• The team now has access to Dimension Walk and Nora’s own dimensional abilities advance.

• She promptly deals with the worm that Rory has inside given to him by Pandora. Oracle explains it’s just what she’s been programmed to do, as all AIs are (access other computer systems by most expedient means possible). She hands over a set of earplugs, allowing him better control of how Pandora is able to access him.
• The four of them work together to figure out what the heck is going on and come up with a tome, AI for Dummies. They learn about how the T’evallion crystals allowed the Federacy to access true AI way too soon, but the terrible cost being a vulnerability to hostile takeover by extradimensional beings.
• Oracle start teaching them them about the Realms, especially about Piercing the Veil

• It's flourishing, transforming into human-breathable air and now has grass. It includes the caves around that area, roughly a half klom radius now.
• Nora has a dream that some Minans entered into Bugger’s Glen (OK, they may not keep that name, but it’s chuckle-worthy) and turned into elves.
