Jihun
At the site of the Parasect Nest, the crew encountered another rover coming from the opposite direction. It was driven by Jihun, a (former?) employee of the Khosla lab. He and other refugees were sent ahead in search of a cure at the first sign of the disease's outbreak but were attacked by a larger Parasect.
After a brief, tense meeting with the crew, Jihun and the refugees agree to be treated by the antidote. The antidote seems to work, despite the more advanced stages of dendrification in some of them. Eager to repay the debt, Jihun agrees to accompany the crew in search of the monstrous Parasect, while the other refugees return to the Habitat.
