Felidasi
Nimble, fierce, and playful: three adjectives that can easily be applied to most felidasi (singular: felidas. Catlike humanoids with a versatile habitat and a strong sense of family, they have found a strong sense of place within the Korth'an Conclave but can be found in many corners of Lasair. Felidasi are fairly diverse both in build and coloration but all have certain traits in common: fur-covered bodies, retractable claws in their hands and feet, and external ears positions atop their heads. From there, an individual felidas will generally resemble their family line with regards to the colors and patterns in their fur and whether they are more slender and agile or broader and more powerful.
Felidasi in the Korth'an Conclave tend to have family traditions of serving with the Korth'an Wardens. They will spend months alone in the forest, patrolling around the edges of the wood for potential enemies (especially Minotaurs and Ratlings) as well as investigating oddities within the dense and ancient woods. Their natural curiosity serves them well here though they can often be distracted.
Felidasi can be found across Lasair, with the largest concentration being in the lands around the Korth'an Forest. Other smaller populations exist in the northern Shifting Jungle and in some small roving families on The Great Plateau. They generally prefer forests and grasslands but are versatile and can manage in many environments. They tend to avoid the lands of the City-States Region as the humans there are xenophobic towards them, though their propensity for stealth and mischief means there are more than a handful prowling around in the cities at night.
