Akaian Calendar
Akai developed a lunar calendar early in the Age of Law. This Calendar became widely used throughout Tisvar, Warlungwarli, Laistemeni, the Orphaned Sea, Manasa, and Thovan. It has been replaced by the Haborian Calendar in the Radiant Kingdoms and by the Ihtabir Eleyha in eastern and central Thovan. It is still used in Morgham, Manasa, Karhadan, Aidhyn, and Tisserian.
It is based on the phases of Sahr and Leştana with Sahr comprising the longer cycles (analogous to months) and Leştana comprising the shorter cycles (analogous to weeks). Kala does not factor into the standard calendar, however variations exist that track her phases as well.
