The Ancient and Venerable Library of the Imperium
The ponderously named library was founded by Cuncidamus R̂idius. For much of its history, it was simply known as the "Library of the R̂idius." In 1350 LE, R̂oldavus Avavius declared the new title.
Regardless of its name, this ancient library is a significant repository of knowledge accumulated, stretching back into the latter days of the Ascendancy of Dragons. Its volumes include poems, plays, essays, histories, ecologies, treatises on magic, the Spheres, and much more. It also contains a restricted vault, in which nine works are stored which are deemed too dangerous for the world at large.
