The Theft of Ten Books

There were ten books stolen from The Ancient and Venerable Library of the Imperium in 1428 LE. An apprentice librarian named Val'Dir Acher was tasked with their recovery.

They are:

  1. The Curse of the Jester

    Calpian, a cursed book of jokes that causes the reader to literally die laughing. Recovered
  2. The Tome of Ilā

    Calpian, a tome that acts as a conduit of possession allowing the Devil Ilā to possess the reader. Recovered
  3. Tro Tra Spy Tra ("The Time Before Time")

    Celestial, written account of an oral history of the period before the Elder Titans made Chronis. Recovered
  4. Tro Urur Gay Kesp ("The Creation of Matter")

    Celestial, written account of an oral history detailing the creation of The Elemental Sphere and The Material Planes. Recovered
  5. Chëghëirn Ted Razgar Khïrloornirn ("The Names of the Demon Lords")

    Draconic, a list of the true names of several hundred Demon Lords.
  6. Er Tamahkar̈liq R̈enshi ("The Heart of Tamahkarliq")

    Draconic, a careful character study of the Grandmother of Woe.
  7. The Undying Mage

    Calpian, a detailed set of rituals and instructions to aid advanced wizards in completing the steps to enter into lichdom.
  8. Bey D̬ayd̬ Xayc Bey Gigdouen ("The Core and the Primordial Beings")

    Ancient Elvish, a philosophical explanation of The Core, Chronis, Char, and Raghanje.
  9. Tro Hurulred Gay Tro Orvaks ("The Cognizance of the Orvax")

    Celestial, an explanation of who/what the Orvax is, their known history, and their current status.
  10. Haaqë Ted Hëaa Soouks ("Summoning the Draconic Gods")

    Draconic, a detailed exposition of the rituals and costs involved in physically summoning the gods of the draconic pantheon.
