Nynæshyæ
Sometimes called "ice elves," the Nynæshyæ are a branch of the Skogsalver who fled to the polar regions. They have no written language and speak an unusual dialect of Sagaasan Elvish. They became a people following their prophet-leader, Dîsy nu Anyr Crænu. Depending upon scholarship, they are considered a separate ethnicity from the Dthænny beginning either in 751 LE, when they began their long pilgrimage, or in 951 LE, when they settled the region they named Bvothæs Reyemysyen in the Arctic.
Major organizations
The Nynæshyæ are divided amongst around 100 bands numbering about 50 individuals, on average. The most important of these bands is the Næru who, of all the Nynæshyæ are permanently settled around a shrine dedicated to Emysyen.
