Personal history
Dîsy was born a lysælfen of the Dthænny people and came of age during the Dragonwars. He was present during the Assault of Chemsaa's Citadel in 703 LE, and was among the soldiers forced to withdraw. He watched as, for half a century, Chemsaa's army ravaged the forests of his homeland.
]Finally, he could take no more. For over fifty years, Dîsy watched as the common folk of the Dthænny died at the hands of the draconic armies. In 749 LE,In 751 LE, he received a vision from the goddess Emysyen. Obedient to the dictates she laid upon him in that vision, two years later, he led many followers on a two-hundred-year pilgrimage, following signs given by Emysyen. He and his surviving followers finally settled in 951 LE on an icy plain in the arctic circle, which he named Bvothæs Reyemysyen ("Emysyen's Fields"), and those with him took the name Nynæshyæ, differentiating themselves from the Dthænny.
A scant sixty-five years later, in the year 1016 LE, he received a second vision, this time from both Emysyen and Pryetas. Obeying the commands of the two goddesses, he gathered a band of his people and led them to the tomb of Sipa̋, a mage of the Myshry. There, he retrieved an ancient artifact of power called the Runestone of the Core. Emysyen bade him carry it to the north, hide it from the draconic forces and the other elves, and construct a shrine dedicated to her in which to protect it. At his shrine in the far north, in the Bvothæs Reyemysyen, Dîsy kept the Runestone of the Core safe.
In 1362 LE, after three and a half centuries of guarding the artifact, a fearsome creature of the Woansch named Wo Blöpptösdt came to Dîsy and demanded the Runestone. The two fought, and Wo struck down Dîsy, though the latter survived and recovered from his wounds. Emysyen appeared to him in the company of his full warband as he lay recovering from the duel and declared that his burden of bearing the Runestone was ended. She bestowed her blessing upon him for his service to her.
Dîsy died in 1368 LE, a venerated figure among his people and is considered a prophet of Emysyen.
