Etpimcemus Qulus Ativius Heiccitager
His most Imperial and Calpian Majesty Etpimcemus Qulus Ativius Heiccitager, R̂oldavus of the Empire
Etpimcemus is a very accomplished ruler. He ascended the throne in 1410 LE, at the tender age of 13, earning himself the nickname Heiccitager ("Youthful"). Refusing to submit to a Regent, he has ruled from the day of his coronation, and has done so capably.
He has established himself as a reformer. Where is predecessors were interested in conquest and rule-by-might, Etpimcemus has ruled by fulfilling the needs of his citizen-subjects. He has quietly championed the cause of equality between the sexes and species.
There was some concern about succession, despite the fact that he is in his early thirties. This was because he is openly homosexual and has shown no interest in marrying to produce an heir. He recently allayed those concerns by adopting his first cousin once removed, Eppova Qulia Ativia. Unfortunately, that solution proved short-lived. Eppova ignored a direct command when she razed the city of Saercumar in retaliation for the assassination of her fiancee, Lâinus of Saercumar. Etpimcemus was forced to disinherit her (though, notably, he did not disown her as his adopted daughter.
