SE&NSCR №s 24 - 27
South Etorea & North Sea Coast Railway № 24 - 27 were a series of 4 locomotives built by Beyer Peacock & Co. for branchline services on the SE&NSCR.
The engines were built in 1883 to a standard BP&Co. design, later they saw use as push pull trains as they were fitted with push pull equipment in the early 1910s with the exeption being №26 which was sold to the BL&SDLR in early 1915. Originally they had an open backed cab, but this was rebuilt to be fully enclosed and to have a coal bunker to provide extra fuel capacity.
When the SE&NSCR became part of the Etorean National Railways in 1919, the remaining locomotives were renumbered to №43016 - 43018. No locomotives have been preserved.
