Redwick
Redwick, the capital of Etorea, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to the Stone Age. At its centre stand the imposing Mansion House, Redwick Queen Street Train Station and St Gordon's Cathedrall (the site of coronations). Across the River Thale, there is a pier where you can go on a river cruise around the city. It has a population of ~5,000,000 and is home to many of Etorea's most important people.
Settlements in the area have been known to date back to ~1090 BCE, with the first "modern" settlements in the area being recorded in the 2nd Century by the Etorean monk Caranius. The area is ideal due to it being near a major river with easy access to the ocean as it would be easy for importing and exporting goods. The city as we know it today was established by both local farmers and viking traders, due to the growing town being an economic hub for the area a small viking garrison was also established north on what is now Garrison Street
