The Cabal of Oblivion
A form of resistance. Originating from Black Haven
The individual cells of the cabal utilize some form of a forget-memory spell. Only 2-3 members are active at a time and have full memories. Others are dormant and have no idea that they are part of the organization.
The cabal is colosely associated with the bardic traditions of the realm. the ritual of oblivion they utilized to avoid detection is a tradition related to the songs the elves would sing to forget theemselves to oblivion in the The Undying Lands of Avalor (the state the continent was in shortly after it's formation).
The members of the Cabal would on occasion meet to sing a song of remembrance, thus awakening all the painfull memories of events and lost loved ones, alowing for every member to be filled in on current events, deciding further course of action and finally selecting the members that would be left 'active'.
