Cristal Palace

The secret city of the High Elves is situated on the eastern slope of the White Mountain and as such it is not under the grasp of the Kingdom of Angmar and is not under the influence of The Dark Miracle.

The white mountain is a glassier, always covered in snow.

All of the town's buildings are made of ice and are decorated with furs and tapestries.

It is high enough that the air is starting to get slim and it might be challenging to breathe.

Cristal palace is protected by powerful illusory, and concealment magics.

Various winter animals roam the town as sentient and speaking helpers, servants and even in some cases as full citizens. None are as prevalent and appreiated as the mighty white bears that form the towns guard (among other positions).

The fay pact of the changeling children

Childbirth of elven children is rare in Cristal palace. the children that are born here are taken by fey spirits and substituted for human children from the kingdom of Angmar. there they are called changelings by the local population.

The elves of the town raise human babies as their own.

This arrangement originates from a deal made by the heigh elves with a powerful fey spirit. in return their home is concealed from the eyes of The Lich King.
