South Wetlands
The South Wetlands are a vast, waterlogged expanse of thick reeds, stagnant pools, and winding channels that stretch toward the distant sea. Heavy mists roll across the land, shrouding the twisted silhouettes of trees draped in moss and rot. The ground is treacherous, a mix of deep mud and hidden sinkholes that swallow the unwary. Leeches, insects, and worse thrive in the humid gloom, feeding on whatever drifts their way. Scattered among the marshes are forgotten ruins and the skeletal remains of past settlements, long abandoned to the creeping tide of decay. Few dare to call this place home, save for those with nowhere else to go.
