Deadlands
The Deadlands, one of the most polluted zones in all of Kenshi. It is claimed by the Second Empire and Black Desert City is the only settlement in this region. Constant acid rain, acid ground, dark weather, and dead environment defines this gloomy area. Iron spiders are said to still roam here as well as Skeletons who have been lost to The Madness. It is a hard region to traverse and only the most experienced and well prepared venture here.
Many in the Holy Nation believe the Deadlands to be cursed and the home of the God Narko, refusing to enter.

Yellow Melon - Found cultivated near settlements using recycled wastewater.
Smoke Thistle - Found sprouted from ash on volcanic slopes.
Ferric Root - Found snaking between and through rusted iron.

Skin Spider - Found scavenging the cliffs in large packs.
Local Resouces
Stone - Found commonly all over the region.
Iron Ore - Found both on the surface and deep within mines.
Gold Ore - Found in the deepest mines.
