Tariel, goddess of magic and weather

The Energies are never stagnant. They are always moving from place to place, increasing or decreasing the powers present in any given place at all times. The novice wonders why the energies flow so, for if they stayed in one place they would surely grow far stronger than they do flowing about. The adept knows that it is Tariel's whimsy that makes the energies behave so. Tariel is the most chaotic of the gods, fanciful in all her ways and erratic in the eyes of most. She is a goddess who cannot be reasoned with as most understand reasoning, but she is by no means malicous. Unlike most of the other gods she cares nothing for the affairs of mortals. Tariel was the last god that Rymaldir created and as such most of the Energies were already created by the other gods by the time she came to be. She stared into the realm of the Energies and saw orange fire burning still in one spot, red anger festering in another, and underneath much of it the gentle blue ripples of waves created by Vulain. Everything moved in small, consistent motions, but to her it all looked still. She reached her hand into the Energies and began to swirl it. The colors of the energies mixed and created spirals of dazzling colors, mixing to create new colors and hues previously unseen. Tariel was delighted, and seeing no reason to create her own kind of energy, has bolted around the world mixing up the Energies for as long as she has existed.  One can clearly see the work of Tariel in the night sky as dazzling colors mix and swirl in the night sky, bolting one direciton and darting in another. It her meddling that causes the sky to change so but she is also responsible for much more. Tariel is the only reason that small amounts of energies exist in nearly every corner of Karnum. Instead of there being giant zones of pure heat and other zones where hatred is the only emotion that can be felt, these energies are scattered throughout Karnum. The only substantial exception to this rule that Tariel has created is the sun, purely due to Baelith's intervention. In addition Tariel makes it possible for mortals to harness magic of all kinds wherever they may be. Sometimes the goddess even blesses certain mortals that she finds interesting for her own inscrutable reasons by causes the Energies to swirl around them, creating a locus of magical power to be used at the mortals disposal. Lastly Tariel is also the sole reason for weather in Karnum. Although it is technically a side affect of her actions (she has no care whatsoever for the purely material plane), her acts in the realm of the Energies cause the air in the material realm to swirl around, creating winds as well as any other weather phenomonon imaginable. In fact is her meddling that causes the ocean waves to rise and sink. Their consistency comes from the forces of Vulain but their variability coems from Tariel.
