Baelith, god of fire and light

"You think you have no reason to thank Baelith? Think again! It is he that lit the fire in your hearth, the flame in your forge, the flares of the very sun are his doing! Thank him for every meal you eat, every tool you use, every ounce of warmth you feel in your bones!" - High Priest Tanneth of the Chapel of Lights
Baelith is arguably the greatest of the lesser deities and is quite upset that he still have the title. To be considered a creation deity one must have created at least one permanent living species, and Baelith has not. Baelith ignited the sun, giving flame to the ball of light that Rymaldir created, and doing so took in the energies of light that Rymaldir had created. By many measures he is the most powerful of the gods, and yet he retains the title of "lesser deity". Because of this Baelith is quite hot-headed (put absolutely intended), so much so that people hesitate to say anything unflattering about the god in a lit room, lest he manifest to repay the insult.

Divine Domains

Baelith is innately the god of fire, and thereby heat. However, Baelith also managed to take hold (limited hold mind you) of the light that Rymaldir had created when he ignited the sun with his fires, thereby becoming the god of fire and light. Luckily for mortals, Baelith is a proud god and could never concieve of trying to restrain his fathers light. Although Baelith is technically only sovereign over heat and light (to a lesser extent) he likes to claim that he is sovereign over farming, cooking, forging, exploration really anything that involves heat or light or even just the sun.
