Honey-Halo

A recent discovery made by a scholarly botanist visiting the Green Abbey, it turns out that channeling arcana after consuming this specific kind of honey creates a beautiful halo of shimmering light that surrounds the mage and can even influence the outcome of their spells and formulae.
Several uses of this have already been proposed to the Dannamore University. First and foremost it could be used as a method to discourage cheating among those who specialize in certain kinds of arcana, Diviners and Conjurers specifically. Since the aura only activates when the individual begins casting a spell it's a dead giveaway to any observing faculty and would alert them to any attempt to use arcana to divine or summon a response.

For over a hundred years the clergy living at the Green Abbey have supplied Stretto with all kinds of resources that have aided the city and also contributed to the prosperity of the entire region. Well known for their Bleshon honey, the viscous liquid is a type of pink honey that is incredibly popular among those who enjoy sweet treats and baking because of it's intense and pervasive scent.
The Green Abbey boasts the largest collection of plant-life known across Allegri and their unique physiology has encouraged the Gardeners of the abbey to experiment with feeding the bees different kinds of pollen that wouldn't naturally be available - which includes a small garden of strange plants grown from seeds purchased from explorers and Dannamore botanists that visit the abbey.
