The Kandevi Empire
Kandêver, the Fortress Lands
Patron Deity: The Dominion
Shrine: The Obsalt Throne
General Climate: Volcanic/Mineral Rich Mountains/Valleys
Major Factions:
Points of Note: Kandêver is the northernmost of the regions of Driobia. The Lands of Kandêver exist to fulfill the desires and purposes of one purpose. To serve the needs of the noble Warmaster, chosen champion of the Dominion. The Capital of Kandêver is Drag Nul, the Impenetrable Fortress, a massive citadel of machines of war, hardened stone and steel, and the Central Keep, built all around the Obsalt Throne, the central seat of Power for the Warmaster.
The cities radiate around the city of Drag Nul, to the borders, where natural volcanoes forces would-be attackers and others to channel into narrow passageways and valleys where the armies of the Warmaster have the advantage. So while individual cities may occasionally be taken, Kandêver has never been taken by an enemy, even since the days of the Sundering. As such, it is known as a safe place to live, and the people don’t rebel against its somewhat strict… and otherwise chafing laws and codes
However, this outwardly Tyrannical purpose is hiding the Divine Mandate of the Dominion, which the Warmaster is held to, and will always hold his entirely country to: To Prevent the Heartrift from expanding, and consuming the world, by any means necessary.
