Guild Hyperios
Until recently Guild Hyperios was a relatively unknown and simple Guild in Atresa. Headed by Arnell Blackstone the guild was known locally for being upstanding and getting straight forward but difficult jobs done reliably.
This changes recently with The Third Virnosian War. While the public perception is that one rogue Prime Lord of Atresa, Lord Thannor, was used by the Grand Magus of Virnos to invade Atresa the reality is far stranger. One ex-Guild Member, a Lindra Thalsor, orchestrated the invasion to kill her former guild mates.
The Members of Guild Hyperios became Atresan and regional heroes for holding off the Virnosian army for as long as they did before General Lastimora arrived on the field of battle. Some of these heroes would fade into obscurity, some would not.
After the battle Arnell Blackstone stepped down as Guild Master and Ian Kadu, one of his fellow members, took over.
The Guild is growing once again under Ian's leadership. It is still performing its original function of helping solve problems such as goblin infestations and curses, but has expanded into archeological and arcane research. The guild is also related to The Songbirds, a sub-guild formed by Horace the Songbird, a former member of Guild Hyperios.
