Geoffrey Delsarté

Mr Geoffrey Delsarté, a robust and well-spoken gentleman, oversees the unofficial encampment, and tavern known as Bard's Rest. He is respected by all who enter ‘The Rest’ and while he can be firm and even authoritative when required, he is by nature a jolly, affable fellow, with a sunny disposition. As any good publican of note, he is quick with a joke and an open ear and has a gift of being able to gain the trust of almost all who he encounters. As was his father, Geoffrey Delsarté, before him. And his father’s father, of the same name, and His father, and so on. As far as anybody can remember, the nameless establishment in the Bard’s Rest Forest has been governed by a Geoffrey Delsarté since its inception.
Despite the name and nature of ‘The Rest’, Delsarté himself is no bard, but is learned and practised instead in anti-magicks, a key strategy in keeping Bard’s Rest Forest safe.
Delsarté is assisted in keeping the peace of Bard’s Rest Forest by a small but highly effective troupe of men and women who are unfailingly loyal to him. This group are all trained in physical and martial fighting styles, and some in anti-magicks, and all take turns in acting as scouts and lookouts on the platforms high in the canopy.
Delsarté is married with 2 children; a son named Geoffrey, and a daughter named Isolde.
