Bard's Rest Tavern

The Tavern

  The Bard’s Rest Tavern, or ‘The Rest’ as it is commonly referred to as, is a medium sized, three walled building, that faces the clearing and is open to all. It was constructed hastily many years ago and has been periodically updated and solidified over the years. At the rear of the building is a walled in section with an open doorway, where foodstuffs and alcohol are kept safe from the elements. The roof of the structure is sturdier than it appears and hides more storage space within.
The few low tables, and even fewer chairs, scattered around the clearing have been loosely knocked together by willing ‘residents’ over the years and are an odd assortment of styles and sizes. Many times, have chairs collapsed under surprised patrons, inciting laughter and comradery from the surrounding patrons.
Being a resting place of bards, the tavern is never without some form of entertainment, and good-natured heckling is almost a rite of passage for young aspiring bards.
