History
Cicero and Illyiac became acquainted after the wanderers entered Hollow Oak for the first time. Liac quickly found Cicero and his personality off-putting, seeing them as phony and overplayed, mostly because his own father (who was a drow as well) did much of the same when he was in Hollow Oak. The animosity entirely on Liac's part was well apparent to Cicero, who often silently contemplated what exactly he had done to piss Liac off so thoroughly. The two interacted very sparingly because of it, mostly if Cicero and the Wardens encountered something they required religious expertise on. During the Black Fang Scouring of Hollow Oak, Cicero and Liac communicated on the origin of Algar Dumitrenteau and how technically Cicero and Liac were cousins. Cicero opened up to Liac personally, and Liac decided to clear his preconceptions about Cicero and start over on a more cordial note.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Illyiac and Cicero both have issues around family and family legacy, as they both share parents belonging to House Dumitrenteau. Algar desperately wanted Illyiac to have the same moon crazed affliction as himself so that me may shoulder the responsibilities of anathema upon him, and Cicero has to bear the weight of being his family's future and whether or not to chose the destiny laid out for him by blood or one forged for himself.
Shared Secrets
Illyiac is aware that Cicero is haunted by the same "Moon Madness" that affects his father Algar Dumitrenteau. Even though Cicero didn't explicity request Liac not to share that information, Liac decided that it was something best kept between the two.
