Red Sangha Arrives

Red Sangha makes their presence, and services, known to Greenbriar.

A small, unarmed courier vessel spiked into the edge of local Gudrun space. The voice, on the other end of the line was calm, measured, and free of all concern.   The trio aboard announced that they were from Red Sangha, a mercenary corps from the sector east, and had heard there was a war they could join. The Tenebrian Remnant had contacted them previously, and the mercenaries wanted to see what Gudrun and its people had to offer.   Their homeworld was devastated by famine. A harsh place even before The Scream, the breakdown of agricultural engines and pre-tech wonders accelerated the rise of the Sangha corps, sworn to serve a patron in exchange for resources sent back home.   Reaching a nirvana- like enlightenment through a chemical surgery known as 'Liberation', Red Sangha offered its experienced, fearless, and determined troopers depending on what the colony had to offer.   Silvano, Seung, and Franz met them on Trivedi cloud, and pledged food, colony supplies, and medical supplies in exchange for armed support against the Remnant.   The offer was accepted, the mysterious warrior monks sent home to gather their forces. They returned a month later with the first wave of reinforcements.
