Grayscale Coven
The Grayscale coven has been around for years. it is said that they are one of the oldest covens in the whole of Centralis. Their magic is strongest in the evening, close to dusk. Grayscale is ruled by one member each generation. Currently it is the matriarch Gretchin Grayscale. Gretchin has two daughters (Callia and Ambrin Grascale ), and one son (Veti Grayscale). Callia choose to follow the School of Witchcraft path, while Ambrin choose to follow the Circle of Witchcraft. Both are very powerful, but now their children are in the spotlight. Callia has two daughters (Cecilia, and Greta) and two sons (Torin, and Luca). All her daughters have chosen to follow less conventional forms of witchcraft, but her son, as followed in her footsteps and has been taught in the School of Witchcraft. Ambrin has two sons (Carrion, and Argos), and one daughter (Berryl). Luca and Berryl, as considered the only two true witches in the current Grayscale generation are both up for being the next leader of the Grayscale Coven.
Culture
They Grayscales have been matriarchal for a long time. However, it is not written in stone that this has to be the way. Rather, the only thing that is absolute, is that the Grayscales only recognize Wizards, Druids, Bards, and Sorcerers who follow the path of the witch to be "true witches." That means that only one of those are able to be the leader of the coven. Many people in the family are not "true witches," but it has always been known that they cannot be the leaders of the coven then.
It is together we rise, and tegether we fall.
